Its a brilliantly kitchy and 70s clip as we see a montage of the floppy-haired teenage girls the killer preyed upon, as a dark soundtrack punctuates the eerie vibe.

Did you do these things, Ted? we see Lily Collins, as Teds girlfriend Liz Kendall, ask during a prison visit.

This is all gonna end, he said. Totally ignoring her question.

Liz replied: Its only gonna end with the truth.

Ted, who murdered more than 30 women, was said to be effortlessly charming, which comes across in Zacs portrayal perfectly. So confident as to shun representation and battle for himself in court, in one scene the murderer sports a swish suit and bow-tie.

Jim Parsons, who stars as Florida Prosecutor Larry Simpson, shared his keenness at the release, as he took to social media.

He simply wrote alongside a promo shot on Instagram: Very excited…!

The film focuses on Teds seemingly perfect relationship with Liz, which is turned upside down when he is arrested and charged for a series of increasingly grisly murders.

Told from Lizs perspective, she is forced to consider how well she knows the man she shares a life with and, as the evidence piles up, decide if Ted is truly a victim or guilty as charged, the description for the film reads.

To get into the mind of the killer, Zac explained he got into Teds psyche by going vegan and wearing false teeth.

Guys in the 70s had that wiry, kinda thin look, he told Variety. Ted was always kind of, a little bit gaunt. He always looked pretty tired. I had a good set of fake teeth and they were pretty Read More – Source
