Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi blessed with a baby girl

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi welcome their first baby.

Bollywood actors Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, were on Sunday, blessed with their first child–a baby girl. Neha delivered the baby around 11 am at Womens Hospital, Khar, according to our source.

The couple announced Nehas pregnancy in August by sharing a series of photos of the couple together. Along with the photos, Neha wrote, “Heres to new beginnings … #3ofUs ….#satnamwaheguruੴ.” Much like Kareena Kapoor and Soha Ali Khan, Neha had a working pregnancy. From attending events and fashion shows to shooting for her talk show No Filter Neha, the actor did it all during pregnancy. She told IANS, “I believe in work thy saviour. I have been a workaholic.”

Neha also revealed that she kept her pregnancy under the wraps for six months for the fear of losing work. She told Mid-Day, “I was worried people would stop offering work. It was a good thing my bump wasnt showing till the sixth month because appearances matter here, and one might be assumed to be unfit for a job. Fortunately, my energy levels are high.”

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi got married in May this year.

The couple also hosted a baby shower in October with the whos who of Bollywood in attendance. Sonakshi Sinha, Shilpa Shetty, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Sophie Choudry, Janhvi Kapoor, Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra among others were seen posing at the party.

Neha and Angad had a hush-hush wedding in May this year. The two had an intimate wedding in Delhi on May 10, 2018, after which they issued a statement which read, “Marrying your best friend is one of the greatest feelings in the world, and we are extremely fortunate to have found love in each other. It has been a beautiful journey knowing each other and after formalizing the wedding earlier this year, today, we exchanged our vows in a beautifully simple, private and intimate Anand Karaj ceremony in Delhi.”
