In case you havent already heard, Liam Gallagher really isnt giving up on Oasis.

The Manchester band ceased to be in August 2009 after Liams brother Noel walked out, declaring that he couldnt go on working with Liam a day longer.

A decade on, the prospect of an Oasis reunion still lingers in the background despite the two Gallaghers forging successful solo careers – and Liam, it seems, is still very much up for picking up from where the band left off.

It hasnt split up in my mind when you think about it, do you know what I mean? he told BBC Breakfast. Its not really that – its just someones been abducted by some strange thing.

Im still fighting the cause for it, whether its under my name or not. I still do Oasis songs and that because I sang them, and I feel like theyre a big part of me.

Theyre not Noels songs. They were written for the band called Oasis.

Liam also maintained that the band shouldnt have to reunite because we shouldnt have split up.

There was no big deal, he continued about the split, before then quite plainly referring to Noel.

Hes making it out like I stabbed one of his cats, slapped one of his kids or – dare I say it – tried it on with his missus.

Its like, leave it out, mate. We had a little argument about things… weve always argued, Liam added.

I just think he wanted out, and to make me a scapegoat. He obviously wasnt getting enough attention.

Noel isnt quite as outspoken as his brother is on the subject of a reunion, but he remains fiercely protective of Oasis back catalogue – so much so that he prevented Liam from the bands music in his recent documentary ARead More – Source
