Colin Kaepernick visited the formal deposition of Texans owner Bob McNair today – and seemed to be over the moon about it.

TMZ reports the former QB attended the first hearing in his case agains the NFL. Kaepernick believes the NFL colluded to keep him out of the league out of a deeply held racism among owners. He filed the grievance last year, claiming NFL executives worked together to “blackball” the Quarterback because he was too controversial.

Kaepernick flew into Houston early this week to catch the hearing with his attorney Ben Meiselas but he’s also in town to throw the football a little.

Ski lifts are pretty intimidating to begin with, but a malfunctioning one is something straight out of a nightmare. That’s just what the scene was like on the slopes at the Gudauri resort in Georgia on Friday.

One of the resort’s ski lifts malfunctioned, but it didn’t just stop or break down. The lift somehow went full-throttle in reverse, putting the skiers in a very dangerous position; forced to either jump or hold on for dear life.

WOW. Terrifying scene on the slopes today in the country of Georgia as a ski lift breaks down in epic fashion. pic.twitter.com/ffCGJn2Wvi

The horrifying incident can be seen in a handful of videos that have gone viral.

Those unfortunate enough to be riding the lift at the time of the malfunction can either be seen jumping off to safety, or being slung into the air when their chair reaches the bottom.

Their season may be long over but two Seattle Seahawks players are getting attention Monday after they posted a video of a woman verbally berating them for protesting the national anthem.

The video was posted to Neiko Thorpe’s Twitter account. Thorpe was in the car with another Seattle cornerback Mike Tyson on their way to the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton, Washington.

“Sound up,” Thorpe tweeted. “Please pray for tha world,” he captioned the video in part.

Well, it looks like March Madness is actually going to go forward without the Wisconsin Badgers in it.

I don’t know about you guys, but I honestly believed that the tournament might have to be called off after Wisconsin failed to get a bid.

After all, how can you have a 19-year streak, and then play the tournament without that school? It’s blasphemy by just about every metric.

The streak of 19 straight NCAA tournament appearances was memorable and remarkable

We all need to pump the brakes a bit on the whole “Tiger Woods is back” talk.

Woods came extremely close to winning the Valspar Championship over the weekend, ultimately finishing second in an extremely entertaining few days of golf.

However, can we please stop heaping praise on people for finishing second? Last time I checked my feet were firmly planted in America, and we don’t celebrate anything other than winning in this country.

March Madness is here, and that means we’re about to find out which Americans don’t support college basketball.

There is absolutely no excuse to not be a huge March Madness fan. In fact, I’m a big believer that those who hate college basketball have mental defects, and should probably be quarantined until we know what the hell is going on.

March Madness is an excuse to drink beer, gamble your house away, shoot your shot with women at the bar after a big win and celebrate another example of why American sports are better than the rest of the world. What’s not to love and support about that?

North Korea, South Korea Refuse To Walk Together At Paralympics

Last month, the world witnessed a positive sign of peace between North Korea and South Korea when their Olympic teams paraded together under the Korean unification flag at the opening ceremony in PyeongChang.

Now, it’s not all rainbows and butterflies; North Korea and South Korea marched separately at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Paralympics, which commenced Friday.

The International Paralympic Committee announced that the neighboring nations would have their own entourages on Thursday — just a day before the opening ceremony.

“Although we are disappointed, we respect the decision of the two [National Paralympic Committees] who decided that marching separately would be better for both parties,” said Andrew Parsons, the IPC president.

The IPC offered the two nations’ paralympic committees a similar arrangement to their Olympic counterparts, but they couldn’t see eye-to-eye over the depiction of Korea on the unification flag. The disagreement comes over the exclusion of South Kor..
