A series of performances, films, and artists talks curated by the musician and artist Solange Knowles is due to premier at the Getty Center in Los Angeles next week. Titled Bridge-s and featuring an original musical score of the same name composed by Solange, the programme will explore the theme of “transitions through time”. The event will be free and open to the public and runs from 16-17 November, 11am-5pm.

Bridge-s is a reflection on how much transition can be controlled and accelerated by our own ideas, thoughts, and movements versus the natural process of time and space,” Solange says in a statement. “The works chosen to respond to these ideas are dear to me, and by artists, musicians, philosophers and filmmakers I have an immense amount of respect for.” Earlier this year, Solange partnered with museums across the US and Europe to debut an extended version of her fourth album, When I Get Home.
