Frightened Rabbit broke their silence following the death of lead singer Scott Hutchison when they urged fans to speak up about their mental health.
And now they have gone and paid further tribute to the late singer by performing with The Charlatans on stage.
During the Belladrum Tartan Heart festival on Friday night, keyboard player Billy Kennedy and Scotts younger brother Grant were invited on stage by the legendary Manchester band to perform a rendition of their track: Head Rolls Off.
Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess had teased at the surprise performance by sharing a picture of himself rehearsing with Frightened Rabbit earlier that day on Twitter.
Fans were quick to comment on the post and thanked the star for showing his support.

One wrote: Thanks Tim, we need to keep Scott and FRs music alive forever (sic)

Another added: Two of my fave bands together, and a beautiful tribute to Scott (sic)
Someone else commented: Didnt think I could love @thecharlatans more. Bravo (sic)
Organisers of the festival also paid tribute by playing the bands album The Midnight Organ Fight in full in aid of Scottish Association for Mental Health.
Festival organiser Joe Gibbs said (via Daily Record): Im so delighted to hear a Frightened Rabbit song being played on the stage this year. The band have always said that Belladrum is a special festival to them and they are a special band to us.

Grant added: The Charlatans were the first band I went to see in the Barrowlands so it is fitting that we joined forces in a special tribute to Scott.
Scott went missing in the early hours of 9 May this year, and police confirmed that his body had been found a week later in Port Edgar.
His band members took to Twitter with a short statement which read: Dont ever think there isnt someone out there who wants to listen to what you have to say. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek G x
