Mark Brennan comes face to face with Gabe’s kidnapper as the frightening situation comes to a head.
Or does it?
Mark agrees to meet with Louise to hand over the ransom and reclaim the poor baby, who was stolen at the end of last season when Paige left him unattended for a few seconds.
The perpetrator transpired to be Louise, who wants money and a passport in exchange for the safe return of the tot.
Mark decides to go along with her demands to get his girlfriend’s baby back, but things go awry when the police charge in to arrest her, only to discover she hasn’t got the baby on her.
As the police pile in they learn that she planned to give the whereabouts of the baby rather than hand him directly over. And now her plan’s been foiled, she’s not talking.
And it’s all Jack’s fault after he called in the cops despite Mark’s warning not to involve them.
Thankfully, clever clogs Mark finds her apartment where he suspects she’s hiding Gabe. Lo and behold there’s a whole host of baby supplies there.
But no baby! And this even comes as a surprise to Louise. What’s happened to him?
