Conor McGregor’s trolling game is once again proving to be one of the best on the internet.

Mayweather recently blew off the idea of fighting in the UFC, which has been rumored ever since his boxing match against McGregor in August.

That didn’t sit well with the Irish-born superstar fighter. McGregor posted a photo of himself during his match against Mayweather with the caption:

I am happy for Floyd and his recent announcement that he is out of these current fight negotiations.
It is the reason I never seeked the rematch in the first place. I was happy for him in retirement.
My game is a very unforgiving one. It is not like other games.
I understand completely him staying retired. I will now carry on in my negotiations and see where it goes.
Have a great retirement Junior.
Now come here and give your old man a hug for old times sake. I’m proud o..

The Carolina Panthers’ interim general manager Marty Hurney has been reinstated following an investigation into potential violations of the NFL conduct policy, the team announced Friday.

Hurney was put on administrative leave on Feb. 5, three days after his wife filed for a temporary restraining order against him. She accused her husband of harassment. The judge denied the request after finding no evidence of such events.

With the investigation turning up empty, Hurney is expected to remain a candidate for the full-time general manager position while the team interviews other options as well.

Other candidates that have been interviewed for the opening include Buffalo Bills assistant college sc..

Chicago Cubs Star Calls For Change At Candlelight Vigil For School Shooting

Anthony Rizzo returned home on Thursday to mourn with the students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and offer some heartwarming words at a candlelight vigil.

“There are a lot of communities out there that know exactly what we’re going through right now and have to relive these moments again and again,” an emotional Rizzo said before the candlelit crowd. “While I don’t have all the answers, I know that something has to change before this is visited on another community, and another community, and another community.”

The NBC ratings for the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang struggled again Thursday night as U.S. Olympians failed to reach the gold, according to Deadline Friday.

On a night that saw Olympic gold medalist slalom skier Mikaela Shriffin failed to medal and U.S. figure skater Nathan Chen fall to 17th place, the first Thursday coverage of the winter games on NBC and NBCSN scored a combined overnight rating of 13.0/22 in metered market households.

That coverage dropped to a new low for this year’s games and fell by 10 percent from the games in 2014 in Sochi, Russia, which in the end scored 22 million viewers.

Last night’s broadcast on NBC, compared to Russia fell by 22 percent and by 32 ..

Bode Miller Apologizes After Blaming Olympic Skier’s Poor Performance On Getting Married [VIDEO]

Olympic gold medalist turned NBC sports analyst Bode Miller apologized after blaming an Austrian Olympic Skier’s poor performance on getting married, The Daily Beast reported Thursday.

Miller’s comments were made Wednesday night as the world watched Olympian Anna Veith struggle on the women’s giant slalom course to win the gold. She has been battling a knee injury since bringing home both a gold and silver medal at the winter games in 2014.

“The knee is certainly an issue,” Miller explained on-air. “I want to point out she also got married and it’s historically very challenging to race on World Cup with a family or after being married. Not to blame the spouses, but I just want to toss that out there, that it could be her husband’s fault.”

There’s been a lot of speculation about what team LeBron James will end up on by the time next season rolls around, but the decision is an easy one if you ask Shaquille O’Neal.

The former NBA star joined ESPN’s “First Take” on Thursday where he weighed in on LeBron’s off-season prospects, surprising Stephen A. Smith when he suggested The King go ring chasing.

“I’d go to Golden State,” Shaq said, immediately getting a reaction out of Smith. “I’m not joking. One: he’s older. He’s on his way down. He already got what, four rings?”

After Smith corrected him to say that he only had three, Shaq responded, “go get three more, that’s what it’s about right?”

Smith predictably ripped into the former Los Angeles Laker at which point it became unclear whether he was being serious or simply trying to get a rise out of the “First Take” host.

“I told my boy the other day, if you could do that, I woul..

The ratings for NBC’s coverage of the pre-Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, dropped by nearly 40 percent in the key demographic compared to the 2014 games, according to The Hollywood Reporter Friday.

A three-hour block Thursday night featuring free-style skiing and men’s figure skating averaged a 3.7 rating among adults ages 18-49 with 16 million viewers on NBC. That includes a live telecast and an encore on the West Coast.
