
K-pop girl group Black Pinks latest music video Ddu-Du Ddu-Du has achieved a number of records on YouTube.
Ddu-Du Ddu-Du is the carrier single of the groups Square Up album, which was released on 15 June.
A YouTube spokesperson told Metro.co.uk that among k-pop girl groups, Blank Pinks Ddu-Du Ddu-Du has the largest number of views for a 24-hour debut of a music video. Moreover, it is the biggest 24-hour debut in 2018 across YouTube.
The rep also stated that among music videos released by K-pop girl groups, Blank Pinks Ddu-Du Ddu-Du is the fastest to 100 million views, achieving the feat in under 11 days.
Among music videos released by K-pop acts, Ddu-Du Ddu-Du is the third fastest to 100 million views behind Psys Gentleman and BTS Fake Love, YouTube further stated.
Ddu-Du Ddu-Du last week placed No. 1 on the Global Top Songs chart, the second K-pop track in 2018 to reach No. 1.

BTS Fake Love achieved No. 1 first in the week ending 24 May.

Last week, Black Pink landed three tracks in the top 100, the most ever achieved by a K-pop group in 2018.
This year, based on YouTube data, Black Pink had over 700 million views that placed them among the top 100 artists on YouTube.
Among K-pop groups, they are only behind BTS (1.7 billion views) and TWICE (1.05 billion views) in 2018 views, the YouTube rep added.
